What players think

The gameplay here is awesome.
Valfaris is an amazing game with a wonderful gritty aesthetic, intense game play, and a chaotic-catchy Doom/Groove/Industrial Metal Kick-ass soundtrack!
Given the 2D nature of the game's graphics, based mostly on sprites and other non-intensive effects, this game should run comfortably even on budget systems.
I had a blast playing this on my Steam Deck, and I'd highly recommend this to people who like a serious challenge and want to experience a really cool twist on this classical genre.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
