The abundant variety of enemies and bosses are challenging enough on the Normal difficulty level and keep the combat exciting while their generally good design makes use of all of the secondary weapons so none of them ever feel useless as the game goes on.

Movement and combat are responsive and deliberate, emphasizing positioning, timing, and awareness of enemy patterns.

Overall, I highly recommend it because it's a good game which is reasonably challenging, it's short and isn't a huge time commitment, the redneck theme is humorous while the story is a light-hearted parody, up to two players can play at once which heightens the experience, and it has an amazingly low price tag.

Visually, the game adopts a colorful pixel art style that feels intentionally nostalgic without being overly derivative.

One of the game's most appealing features is its two-player co-op mode, which allows the second player to join at any time by pressing start on a second controller.
