What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The gameplay is rather simplistic if compared to other titles of this kind, as for now there is a kinda restricted number of upgrades and skills with which you can enhanche your vehicle during the match, and also generally just 3 classes of planes are sort of small choice, anyway the gameplay concerning PVP is good.
A superb arcade flight combat sim with light progression tactics that excels in its tiny arena combat format.
Graphically, you can deduct just with a glimpse that Sky Knights is not exactly top-notch modern graphics, which is not always a bad thing, considering this is a low-budget indie early access game there is large space for improvement in teh future, and looks is not all in a game, but certainly does it part.
From the opening menu with Top Gun'ish soundtrack getting you into the mood, to that explosive joy of finally making it through the radar scanners, AAA, and enemy flight patrols to blow up a base target, to the intense satisfaction of coming out top from a dogfight...
Controller works fine but keyboard is a nightmare, especially when turnfighting.
