What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
That's really all I care to speak about the story, due to potential spoilers and the sheer length of the game.
At first play, it is impossible for the player to not notice the unique graphics Okami uses.
You can make platforms appear -- or create them outright -- and call down vines to carry you somewhere you can't get to on your own, and you can fix broken bridges just as you can slice just about anything in half -- it adds a whole new layer of gameplay that makes you want to try everything and gives you the opportunity for exploration -- and even some customization here and there -- that really keeps you engaged in what's happening, at least to me.
This is done very well both with a controller or with a mouse and keyboard.
Encounters with friends and foes alike are memorable for all the right reasons, and that includes the exceptional soundtrack that, to this day, remains one of my favorites in gaming.

Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
