The story itself creates a mysterious and intriguing journey and the music lends very well to the atmosphere and the story.
Easily the best part of Trackless besides it being short & sweet is that it has an art style typically reserved to some visual novels, insofar as characters go, but further distinguished in its environments and vehicles.
Trackless is kinda unique type of a game when it comes to its 2D art style in a 3D world, its not a style that is used that much especially in modern day and it creates kinda cool feel to the game along with the splendid soundtrack that lets you dive inside the game.
As to the gameplay, it's also rather distinct, in that it calls back to classic text adventures.
The text parser is a nice interface, though occasionally it is a bit of too much word guessing, especially if English is not your native language.
