What players think
The recurring themes across 262 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
You will play the game multiple times trying to get the good ending and a full run takes about 30 minutes to two hours.
You will have to make desisions, save or sacrifice people, gain their trust or angry them, there's options for replayability, you'll definitely need 5-6 hours to explore every branch, every outcome.
Interactive fiction with reasonable character actions, world and word choice reactions, good (and judicious) use of sound effects and graphics, multiple paths and endings that are actually different from one another in more than purely cosmetic ways, and a very satisfying reward for actually doing things that would realistically (if that can be applied to a game with tech magic) improve various situations.
Oh, plus perfectly logical changes in interface type in specific situations, and a meta puzzle for a boost that makes some of the achievements easier.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
