What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The story is actually pretty engaging too (not yet reaching the levels of the Ezio trilogy), and Bayek is a great protagonist, one of the few AC leads that feels genuinely memorable instead of just generic guy with a hidden blade.
Some reviews mentioned frequent crashes, but such situations occurred only once during my 48h gameplay, which is highly acceptable for me.
The game's requirement for pc hardware levels is quite low, which is awesome for a game with such great graphics.
But besides the beautiful large landscapes, Bayek as character and good voice acting (at least in cutscenes), this game is a big disappointment for me.
(I played @1440P, Very High/High, HDR ON, 60 FPS VSYNC ON for reference.)
Even the optimization can get a bit shaky, with occasional frame drops reminding you that the sand is not the only thing that is rough around the edges.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
