It's fairly optimized, its a nice mix between COD, ARMA, and other tactical FPS games but, as it is now its not worth the price.
Besides that, if you played the 2014 game you know exactly what this mod is like, the gameplay has really not changed much at all and the developers feel like they have wasted the flexibility of the unreal engine and just used it because "it supports consoles!"
I strictly play Co-op so the Versus mode might give an entirely different perspective of the game if you plan on playing that, but Co-op is a great starter to the game so I'd advise playing that first.
In the previous titles, there were many more urban maps, with great lighting and outskirts areas.
