Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles

Yonder is clearly heavily inspired by games like Harvest Moon, Zelda, and a touch of Animal Crossing, but makes sure to give a unique twist to the whole experience, including familiar elements such as farming, exploration, crafting, fetch-quests, character customization, animal taming and fishing.

<3 Other favourites were discovering caves, the weather effects and seasons, the lighting during different times of day, reaching islands in shallow clear water, some of the settlements...

Good things: The look and feel of the game is nice, gameplay feels smooth and managing tasks, inventory, and crafting are easy from a control standpoint.

The fishing mini-game takes a bit of getting used to with a mouse -- might be easier with a controller? -- but after the first couple tries does start to feel natural.

There is no voice acting apart from some sounds to utter surprise and the like.

I ended up having most of them still left to collect after exploring every region fully, because I played on Steam Deck and didn't want to interrupt my roommate, so played on silent (I play almost every game this way).
