It’s a game that understands how to blend form and function—its visuals never distract from the readability of combat, and its audio feedback enhances the rhythm of play.

When I compare these two directly as my favourite games, TFH wins on accessibility, clarity of gameplay, character variety (despite having a much smaller roster) and, crucially, neutral/footsie game.

It’s a title that wears its quirky identity proudly, presenting a cast of adorable, hoofed animal fighters while delivering a combat system that stands toe-to-toe with some of the genre’s best.

The inclusion of GGPO rollback netcode ensures that matches feel smooth and responsive, even across long distances.
