It's clear that when the devs set out to make this game, that was their full intention; as well as keeping with the thematic, and aesthetic touches that the Dragon Quest series is known and popularized for.
Like every Warrior game, it’s a great use of licenses, characters, and gameplay.
This game avoids becoming just another "Warriors-esque masher" by implementing charm, beautiful opimization, well implemented and executed graphics, series loyalty, and an empathetic and well scaled difficulty system.
The schema for this game is well implemented, and I highly recommend using a controller.
The soundtrack as with all Dragon Quest games is absolutely great!
