Tattletail is a compact game with a well rounded story, fun gameplay and just amazing attention to detail, this game gets so much right and i believe it is worth giving a shot at it (it's a pretty short game, around 3 hours or so to get the 100% and complete the free DLC.

There's a lot of ambient noise to potentially creep you out earlier into the game, the titular Tattletail's energy is both as charming and as irritating as it needs to be so that you ping-pong between loving him and wanting to tape his mouth shut, the game's lighting generally does a good job at enhancing the admittedly underwhelming design of Mama, the elements of resource management and somewhat "hope and pray" style of protecting yourself keeps the gameplay tense, and as short as the story is it's kind of a blast to experience.
There is also a flashlight that will slowly get darker and requires you to shake it to light it up, creating noise (I LOVE the sfx of this, especially the golden one), however, if you stay in the dark and are with tattletail, they will get scared and make noises as well.
