Which is to say, this doesn't take away from the addictive gameplay - Qix's timeless formula got me stuck to the computer and time flew by so fast that I forgot about a batch of bacon I just put into the oven and I accidentaly burned it to a black crisp.
Technically the game is very lackluster - it only renders graphics in something like 720p.
The soundtrack matches the tone—catchy, unobtrusive melodies accompany each stage, complemented by whimsical sound effects that enhance the feeling of light entertainment rather than intensity.
Mapped the keyboard buttons to gamepad using Steam's built in config and everything worked fine.
