Ladykiller in a Bind

The game's structure is a frame story which continually, brilliantly, draws attention to the fact that it's fiction.

The actual dialogue mechanics with possible interjections are really well done — some choices veer off what they seem to sound like in the description but it’s no big deal, plus there’s always the backtrack stack.

The visuals had a pretty good style and the music was decent.

Visuals are fine if that's the style you like, good sound effects too, but the story is so incredibly bland and dull.

The art direction, though, is great, with lots of character expressions, movement, and cut-ins that make the scenes feel very dynamic.

The menu system was pretty unique as many Ren’Py games end up with really similar menu systems where Ladykiller went for their own style.
