It sounds like a pretty major turn off, but the game builds up this sort of thing well so when you reach this part it all feels natural.

In conclusion, I wouldn't recommend both chapter 1 and 2, as I think they are completely skippable, at least the OST and art are good, and they are basically free, so yeah.
