Life is Strange: Before the Storm

Gameplay, story, characters and everything is on the same level like the original game.

If you're buying the game elsewhere and we're only talking about the gameplay itself and how it played out rather than the functionality -- I give this a solid 8/10.

Don't misunderstand me, I really loved the entire soundtrack, it fitted well the moments in the game, I listened to it carefully and enjoying it during my play time, but somehow it didn't spark my interest to the point of research and listen the entire soundtrack on its own as the first game did.

The game's sketchy art style from LiS is fully respected in this prequel as well, and on a good side the game ran smoothly without troubles or glitches of sort.

A big part of that is that it keeps the first game's philosophy of making nearly every character more complex than they at first appear; the jock Drew was the standout for me here.

I finished the entire game on Linux with an Xbox 360 Wireless gamepad and it worked great.
