there's a good game hiding in here somewhere but the writing especially needs serious work. it drags the entire game down with it. the graphics are good, the interfaces are... serviceable (the font choice and CRT effects in the main conversation screen feel particularly like they need some love and care), the engine feels stable and ok to use though it needs to run while you're alt-tabbed from fullscreen, the gear and equipment your character needs to use is straightforward. i like the soundtrack and general sound design a lot tbh. it's understated but effective.
