Serious Sam VR: The Second Encounter is a full-throttle virtual reality shooter that embraces the series’ old-school roots and amplifies them through immersive, physical gameplay.
That being said, I still recommend the game for the first 3/4 of the campaign for people who played the First Encounter and want some more of something very similar to that.
Unless of course you use some third-party controller, that is more ergonomically friendly.
For fans of classic FPS design and VR enthusiasts looking for a demanding, adrenaline-fueled experience, it stands as one of the more satisfying and faithful VR adaptations of a traditional shooter available on Steam.
And scouring steam to find games that fill the need of a good shooter whether it is classic or new, it is almost like looking for a needle in a hay stack since most popular VR shooters are usually mainly focused at the PvP crowd.
