Good save/load features, a great plot, many choices and different endings, a simple but overall useful and responsive user interface (you can configure the skip and auto options, sound options, text speed and so on) and really great graphics, which make a greatly blended contrast between the backgrounds, which look like real paintings and the character sprites, which are made in a standard but well-made and detailed Japanese/anime style.
