As someone who played Mastercrafted Edition on GamePass, let me tell you: If you're like me and you're only interested in (re)-playing the story of the first Space Marine game after you've put a ton of hours into Space Marine 2 - this version should be the one you go for.
BTW, if you reading this don't buy Mastercrafted edition. its not worth the money at all, no significant improvement aside from lighting and some texture work, and it has some new bugs as well.
It plays especially well on the Steam Deck because of how smooth the performance is.
If you have friends I think there is a Co-op horde mode.
