Archaica: The Path of Light

Finally, and quite importantly, the game has beautiful visuals that perfectly support the feeling of intrigue when solving the puzzles.

The mirrors have different shapes, that reflect the light differently, other pieces teleport the light, store it, change the color of it, ect. the progression of difficulty in the puzzles is mostly linear, and well paced, no huge or dramatic jumps in difficulty.

The text-only story is well written, and not overly wordy. the ending felt a bit rushed or abrupt, but it fit the storyline.

Here, you have to look at the whole picture and you'll see not only a very solid puzzle game with incredible environments, but also a relaxing experience that still manages to squeeze your brain with a high, but customizable, difficulty level.

There are fun new mechanics with every zone you unlock, the aesthetics are lovely, and most of the sound design is simply perfect (the music is kind of average and more like extended ambient noise than anything, but at least did not negatively stick out).
