BREAK ARTS II is a unique fast-paced mecha racing game with an EXTREMELY intuitive customization system and some decently engaging gameplay.
The technical side is arguably its greatest weakness: saying optimization could use work is an understatement, as even with most "extra" graphics settings turned down, on a reasonably well-performing machine, getting a stable 60fps during a race was quite a rare occurrence.
Good news is that the music has a separate volume slider in the options so you can turn it off and still hear the sound effects and voices in the game.
Just starting up the race, feeling that awesome music pumping through my headphones, seeing the interface boot up, "YOU'RE AN ARTIST: IMAGINE"...
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
