Maybe having anticipated my lines above, SqEM significantly ramped up the difficulty in the first extra episode, and as a result, the levels are very satisfying almost without exception.
They chose to look like an old-school platform game set in 3D, surreptitiously inserting visual extras like dynamic lighting and smoothed edges into the decidedly low-poly environment.
Given the simplicity of its gameplay, I am surprised by how much it managed to offer gametime wise with no optional hints used.
People are going to love meticulously planning every single step while all these other characters hang out in the lobby.
Massively adding to the atmosphere are the excellent sounds like gates crashing down behind, underlining the impossibility of going back, or the restrained soundtrack that's maybe more a soundscape.
very fun game. when it works. plays perfectly on steam deck with the deck controls, but when docked to a monitor with a PS5 controller, its a pretty buggy mess. the prompts to move pillars and throw spears just dont work 100% of the time. its really odd. havent tried on PC or with mouse and keyboard, but would highly recommend on deck in handheld mode, if you want a fun, casual puzle game with some really cool mechanics.

Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
