My first run through was on hard, took about 22 hours for 100% and I went with a resist ending, and then my second and third were on easy doing the other two endings.
Progression through skill trees and ability upgrades is satisfying, though the grind can slow pacing mid-game.
Its hand-drawn art style is richly animated and drenched in Lovecraftian atmosphere.
The sound design does a great job of making your attacks feel weighty and satisfying, and the enemy noises are good too.
I enjoyed Sundered as a 2-player co-op experience with blend of couch and Remote Play Together co-op.
