8-Bit Invaders!

I have no problem with a game that takes something already done before and solidifies it with extremely well-crafted gameplay, look at Company of Heroes and you’ll see a perfect example of that.

In my opinion, it was far superior in almost every way with both factions looking and playing completely different from each other and the graphics being overhauled.

8-Bit Invaders has a pretty fun multiplayer mode as well, which is to be expected of most RTS games at this point.

I really enjoy when RTS games let you play together with others, and this game's co-op mode was no exception.

This game's soundtrack does sound super similar to 8-Bit Armies', but regardless, I think Klepacki's tunes still capture that mix of action-packed battles and strategic thinking pretty well.

Their epic unit is the Destroyer, a powerful melee unit that can recover health by eating enemy infantry, fire a burning beam at aircraft, and turn enemies into Xenodogs.
