The textures are terrible when looked at closely and visually Exoplanet is serviceable at its best.
As people may have seen, controller support seems to be a topic of importance lately and we are assured that full support will be added at a later date, along with a UI overhaul to work with controllers, for the moment though I have created a steam controller config which works well with the game and all buttons on the hotbar etc which does help anyone who wants or needs to play with a controller and has a steam controller too.
There is a survival mechanic, and for casual players like me, its at a beautiful sweet-spot where it's not too difficult, but its enough to keep you on your toes as well and looking for every resource.
