What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
- Controls take some getting used to initially, and if you lack a controller and don't want to use one, you're out of luck since the game's pretty optimized for controllers
While others are complaining about things that can be fixed in simple updates, the core gameplay is very satisfying and will please anyone that enjoys this type of game.
On the plus side, I quite like the game's visuals and the sort of modelling clay feel they were going for with the creatures.
The soundtrack is subtle and ambient, reinforcing the contemplative tone without dominating the experience.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
