What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The original gameplay remains intact, retaining both its charm and its unforgiving difficulty.
- Controller support: Only Xbox controller is supported.
Local co-op only works when both players use a gamepad &, at time of writing, it seems impossible to have them share a keyboard or mix & match a controller/keyboard combo.
This game was a graphical powerhouse when it was first released, and it's the earliest game I remember people buying because of its amazing graphics.
These two games also have two player coop available, which was a nice touch for that era.
Further, the collection also comes with a soundtrack, original U.S.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
