Asura: Vengeance Edition

I've got to give the creative director credit here, I love when background lore can explain the occurrence of life, death, and rebirth within a game, this simple merging of storytelling with gameplay structure really brings everything together.

Combat feels solid with impactful sound effects and both melee and ranged weapons which leverage stamina or ammo as a resource, often forcing hit and run tactics as you engage the enemy.

People in the comments here seem to complain about the controls, so evidently they didn't read that bit, or they're unable to use a controller properly, as the controls on gamepad are 100% perfect.

Thematically this is a beautiful piece of leading narrative that fits well within the context of the game.

Running this with a gtx 1070 was smooth and crisp with maxxed out graphics, floating steadily around 120 fps (I wasnt using unlimited fps in the settings, not sure how high it would have been then).

Items you equip are added to your character model, which is nice, and special effects are quite good, too.
