ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove!

successfully revives one of gaming's most beloved cult franchises by blending the charm of its 16-bit origins with modern roguelike mechanics and cooperative gameplay.

The game loves you and your friends, it is waiting for you, giving a bunch of additional innovations for the coop.

The music is so funky, graphics are comic like, colorful and pleasant and the game is mechanically fluid to play, which is welcome compared to the rather slow original Megadrive game.

Lastly, for those who have already played the original game a fair amount, I'd say this game doesn't introduce that much new, so it might be boring and uninspiring, but those who don't know the series or have never played, this is an exemplary multiplayer game to be enjoyed together.

Having more than just 2 stats to think about also opens the game up to having more playable character variety, which makes the game fun to replay, especially since some need to be unlocked.
