Responsiveness and controller support are just fine and work well.
I'm pretty conflicted in whether I would recommend this or not based on the gameplay.
One thing in particular that I did appreciate was the soundtrack of HackyZack.
This game consists of you, the playable character (8 characters in total, 6 of them unlockable, bringing only a visual variety) & the ball which you have to get to the yellow line.
