I think the gameplay is very solid, The 32 minigames are solid, they are all very different, and most keep being a challenge, especially if everyone gets a bit skilled at the minigames.

While it has multiple play modes including a couple of board games, a hard-to-figure-out adventure mode and a frustratingly-hard Gauntlet mode (obstacle course), the real attraction here is Minigame Mode, which cuts straight to random minigames.
