While by today's standards the girls are mostly tired anime clichés, with little depth to the story outside of weird, bordering on tame, fetish-like interactions (sometimes) and excuses to get them in compromising situations or make their clothes blow off their bodies (of which there's little variety, regardless of how alluring said one body type is), there are funny and unexpected interactions between the cast, and said little depth can be surprising (yet scarce).
Senran Kagura: Estival Versus is a great game marred by a weak story and some misguided gameplay choices.
Add in the robust online multiplayer, and it's easy to see why I've sunk over 200 hours into it."
I have to say, firstly, the graphics in this game is way better than Shinovi Versus.
The soundtrack is probably the best in the series.
And the last mode is the dressing room and its fun customization, I have fond memories of creations I've made, sadly though this really fun and well made editor has its flaws which is every modern senran kagura games flaws, that being a lot... and I mean a lot of costumes being locked behind paid DLC, which isn't worth it at all.
