What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The gameplay loop is a bit weary and grindy (unless you play it on Very Easy that greatly alleviates the grind issues) as it seems to be intended to be played on today's standards.
TL;DR: It’s a no-nonsense FPS mayhem with occasional comedy and full-time action, optimised to run & look decent even on potato machines.
A remaster of the 2011 cult favorite Bulletstorm, this edition includes upgraded visuals, all previously released DLC, and a few new features like 4K support and a playable Duke Nukem skin (complete with his own voice lines, for better or worse).
The characters, especially Grayson and his cyborg sidekick Ishi, are more layered than they initially seem, and while the plot doesn’t stray far from B-movie territory, it’s bolstered by strong voice acting and sharp pacing that keep things moving at a breakneck speed.
On the bright side, because of its age, the game runs great on the Steam Deck.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
