Half-Life: Opposing Force

The ability to lead small squads of soldiers — including medics and engineers — adds a fresh layer to combat, and new mechanics like rope climbing and radios help expand gameplay without overcomplicating it.

Maybe it's just from me experiencing and re-experiencing all the mainline Half-Life games and playing the expansion packs last, but the experimental (but not too groundbreaking) gameplay really struck a balance with me-- feeling new and fresh, but still undeniably Half-Life.

The expansion also introduces some very cool lore elements that build naturally on the original story.

One word~ COOL, everything about this expansion is COOL, from the enemy design to the weapon, amazing experience, but you better play on normal difficulty for more enjoyable experience, or you want a true HECU experience then tried hard difficulty~

The addition to the lore that this game offered was also very welcoming, it was a lenghty & solid expansion that I would play it all over again with different mods, the multiplayer mode is also worth checking out for all of this and the CTF mode.

Starting out, the expansion pack already throws a decently sized roster of weapons that you can use your way, which honestly was fantastic, because most encounters with an enemy left you with an incredible amount of choices to how you want to go about it.
