8-Bit Hordes

If you like classic RTS that involves good old base building mechanics, I see no reason to not give 8-Bit Hordes a try.

Coop is even more fun doing set missions with a buddy, and if only playing with one other friend isn't your speed then you can get a lot more of your pals into a multiplayer match to wreak havoc.

Game itself like the name suggests has retro style graphics which are voxels in this case and it looks amazing (And if you have played 8-bit Armies it is an step-up in graphics department).

A great strategy in multiplayer or versus a stronger AI, is to charge into the base with a swarm of weak, cheap, and quick to produce units and attack their power generators until their power went offline, then sending in your more expensive mop up crew to take out their buildings and units.

The blocky style 3D models are well animated and sound effects are perfect.

Combat is expanded on with melee units and a variety of new ability types, such as AoE healing and necromancy, which add flavour and distinctness to the factions.
