Borderlands 2

The artstyle of the Borderlands series is very recognisable and I have to give credit for that, as it suits the gameplay very well.

I mean don't expect Disco Elysium levels of story and writing here no, but for a silly game about shooting a lot of things, this game has no right to have such an interesting story with a cast of characters this engaging.

First up is the combat, the enemy varietly and AI behaviors have been improved significantly compared to the first game.

If you want to avoid that, I’d strongly recommend sticking to solo play or pre-formed co-op groups rather than jumping in with randoms.

More than a decade after its release, it remains a gold standard for its storytelling, character design, and addictive gameplay loops.

Visually, the game looks exactly how you’d expect a Borderlands title to look, with that signature gritty, comic-book art style that I absolutely love.
