Figment

Whilst at surface level, the narrative is light-hearted, Figment manages to capture the complexity of the mind whilst wrapping it up in a fantastical universe with bright colours, action and puzzles.

Overall, the mechanics are fairly simple, but nevertheless, creative and fit with the theme.

The main draw (pun intended) of the graphics is the hand-drawn art style.

Combined with the wondrous art and dramatic voice acting of the villains, it was an easy mistake to make.

Although some sections did stump me for a bit, the solution was always within grasp and stayed within casual difficulty.

Even though I expected FG to play more like a point and click game, I was actually able to play it with my controller without any significant problems.
