There is a lot going on during the tutorial, but once you get the mechanics down this game is loads of fun!

If you want a Dominions-y CCG with rich story, deep gameplay, and minimal input from the RNG, I highly recommend War of the Omens as a free alternative.

The restrained soundtrack combined with the bleak visuals creates a remarkably immersive atmosphere that few survival games manage to achieve this effectively.

The aesthetic is stylish, and I liked the minimalist sound design with snowy footsteps and tribal chants.

The muted art style and minimalist interface fit the atmosphere perfectly, but some cards and information can blend together visually during complex situations.
