What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
It's cool though because I can join a lobby (what they call servers in Wolfpack) or host my own, have a U-boat all to myself and 3 or 4 others can be full of other players - with whom I can communicate both over the telegraph either in plain text, or encrypted via the enigma machine.
If you love submarines or coop simulations, definitively keep this game on your radar.
The lighting is superb and makes narrowly missing depth charges at the cost of a couple light bulbs all the more intense.
Otherwise, the gameplay is smooth and without issue, while the Uboat is currently limited to the bridge, control room and radio room, the devs have announced plans to add full interiors.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No themes split opinion in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 6 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
