What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
However, I dislike f2p where the single player campaign is really just free to try.
On the simplest level, the gameplay is like a turn-based Starcraft game where you gather resources, construct tech buildings, build your army, and subdue your opponent.
There is no benefit in multiplayer match at all.
I like the art style of the game even though I have seen many people calling it "cheap" or "mobile like", but tbh I think for such a small development team the art style is more than good enough, and main plus I'd say every unit at least feels unique and distinct, thanks to the artwork.
On the plus side, unlock Hearthstone Prismata actually has an options menu that lets you customize a plethora of different UI visuals and functionality, and there is an end turn hotkey so you have to give them credit for that improvement that most other CCGs STILL haven't figured out (lol).
There are a number of multiplayer features developed and polished already including full ladders, auto-matchmaking, live spectating, replays and analysis mode, assignable hot-keys, and in-game support for Twitch streamers.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
