What players think
The recurring themes across 182 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
As you travel to different planets to collect various objects for your project, you discover other life forms, as well as different machines that you must interact with throughout your quest.
The threshold for a wall you can jump straight over and a wall you can't doesn't quite match the visuals, so you frequently have to jump twice for a wall that Saira should visibly be able to just get right onto.
Overall though Saira offers a good deal of platformer and puzzle gameplay, there are multiple ending aswell though I haven ot experienced all of them.
It should have had controller support, because platforming with the arrow keys is awkward.
The visual beauty is there, the perfectly minimalistic sound design is there, the sense of wonder, the feeling of calm exploration, the distinctive touch of Nifflas, all there, but the issues with the controls become grating quickly and prevent it from being as enjoyable as it could be.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 4 sampled reviews and is not shown.
