The Banner Saga 3

I’ve enjoyed the story, loved the art style, suffered with the characters, fought battles after battles and I’ve come to the conclusion, that the third part is by far the weakest.

Turn-based combat system is once again expanded upon again with an added wave mechanic, new classes and further improved character building.

The turn-based combat is both very fun and strangely designed at the same time.

The soundtrack is excellent (though not as amazing as the Tooth and Tail soundtrack from the same composer).

The ever-expanding character roster gains dredge, giving the player control of the enigmatic enemy of man, the dredge were one of the few refreshing aspects of the game however, legendary titles being the other.

This is a pretty unique series since it feels like a blend of an interactive novel with almost rogue-like difficulty game play in the survival and hard modes.
