What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The gameplay and graphics are very nice, but this damn mission is on the southwestern shore of England. unless you are prepared to do a 12 hours long session going back and forth through the the damn Norwegian Sea (believe me, it sucks, it takes time and it's boring), you won't get past the first mission.
There are some gameplay/QOL optimization issues but I personally feel from my experience with Silent Hunter 4 that this is the best game in the Silent Hunter series.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
