Overall, the level design and monster design is top notch, and the gradual trudge through the story as you uncover more clues and bits of lore kept me coming back so I could see it through to the end.

graphics look decent enough to accomplish what the game sets out to do - spooky environments, and nice character designs; friendly characters are cute, and the monsters are creepy and weird looking

I started out with my keyboard since I was too lazy to hook up my controller, but it's MUCH easier with the controller, since you can actually control the direction the flashlight points while sprinting and moving around.
