The characters are interesting almost immediately and well introduced, a couple seem bland at the minute and typical VN trope characters but there is plenty of time for them to develop.

The voice acting is good without excelling, I'm sure I'll grow to love it but at the minute the protagonist is sort of "meh".

VLR on the other hand was underwhelming -- the pacing was slow as hell and the twist at the end kinda sucked. the puzzles were upped in difficulty and were fun to solve, the characters were interesting so id say playing it wasnt a complete waste of time.
