If you don't get hooked right away by the gameplay and mechanics, you probably won't get hooked later, as the core gameplay loop does not really change, only your playstyle as you get better.
It’s a beautiful game with an in-depth combat system, detailed graphics, unique costumes, and gorgeous landscapes.
DO NOT buy it for coop with your friends, while it does that and it was pretty fun.. occasionally we'd just spend time de-syncing, disconnecting and having those "fun" moments when someone saw the boss and the other person couldn't (but still got hit by it..)
