Story and characters
Players who bring up Story and characters mostly praise it.
I don't think I have ever seen a game within this subgenre that has this many completely unique setups for levels, you just get into so many different scenarios it is just incredible and that combined with the aforementioned variety in the strategic approach and the amount of different characters you get to control and synergies to think about just creates this one of a kind, insane and "you have to see it to believe it" type of experience.

Gameplay
Players who bring up Gameplay mostly praise it.
One very cool gameplay aspect to note, the levels tend to have more units on the battlefield than most Tactics game I played, which is something i am very happy about.

Graphics
Players who bring up Graphics mostly praise it.
Whereas X-com had mostly pretty good graphics and presentation, Troubleshooter is very much an indie game and it shows.

Optimization
Players who bring up Optimization mostly praise it.
No matter how optional the drone crafting or pet-leveling look to you, you will ABSOLUTELY need them to be as optimized as your main characters on harder missions.

Hopefully the sequel has full Steam Deck support as this style of game is perfect for it.
