What players think
The recurring themes across 26 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Exept that it was ok, boss fights were entertaining the dark atmosphere was cool and i liked that you can kill or save the people in town for different ending/s .
On a positive note, the graphics were clear, and the controls were very responsive.
But its still very fun, tight controls, multiple paths through stages, incentive to explore stages. has nice art, has a good soundtrack, and most of all: It's linear, focusing more on combat and platforming.
I love metroidvanias but it's an oversaturated market, and I prefer linear stage-based progression over hardcore exploration and puzzle solving.
