What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The gameplay is simple enough not to be overwhelming to learn, while still complex enough for interesting spell interactions and meaningful choices for what to cast.
One minor potential gripe - up through maybe 1/3 of the way through nightmare mode, it's far more effective to dump all your new skill unlocks into 100% completing the DPS characters' kits than to unlock a few of the healing spells.
The game's art style is full of personality and gives everything a light-hearted, welcoming feel.
Spell / idle combat gameplay is pretty diverse and distilled - each level offers a unique modifier which makes you switch your strategy and keeps things interesting.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
